Topmovers Logistics was born in 2017 out of a simple frustration — moving in Nigeria was stressful, unpredictable, and full of unpleasant surprises. Furniture arrived damaged. Drivers showed up late — or not at all. Customers had no way to know where their belongings were once they left the house.

Our founder, Ajodo Godsown, set out to change that. Starting with one truck and a commitment to showing up on time, every time, Topmovers built its reputation move by move — one satisfied family at a time. Word spread fast in Abuja. By 2022, the business had grown enough to earn its CAC Business Registration No. 3756073 — a formal seal on what customers already knew: Topmovers is the real deal.

Today, co-founded alongside Anthonia Egwu, we've completed over 1,200 moves across 15 Nigerian states. We introduced live GPS truck tracking — a first in the Abuja moving industry — so customers can watch their belongings move in real time, just like Uber. That's not a gimmick. It's our promise: your move, your visibility, your peace of mind.

Topmovers is Born

Ajodo Godsown launches Topmovers Logistics from Abuja with one truck, one driver, and an unshakeable belief that moving in Nigeria could be done better. First 12 moves completed in the first month.

2018

The Team Grows

Anthonia Egwu joins as co-founder, bringing operations expertise. Fleet expands to 3 trucks. Topmovers completes its 100th move and earns its first batch of online reviews — all 5 stars.

2019

Going Long Distance

First interstate move — Abuja to Lagos. Customers love the reliability on a route known for logistics headaches. Long-distance bookings grow 60% month-on-month through referrals alone.

2020

Surviving the Pandemic

COVID-19 shuts the country down. Topmovers adapts quickly — contactless moves, PPE for crew, sanitised trucks. We continue serving essential workers and families in transition. Zero infections on any job.

2021

Office Relocation Specialty

We launch our dedicated Office Relocation service after completing 15 corporate moves in 6 months. IT-sensitive equipment handling becomes a key differentiator in Abuja's business district.

2022

Live GPS Tracking Launched

We become the first moving company in Abuja to offer Uber-style live truck tracking. Customers can now watch their truck move on Google Maps in real time — a revolution for the industry.

Founder & CEO

Ajodo Godsown founded Topmovers Logistics in 2017 with a single truck and a vision that Nigerians deserved a moving experience they could trust. A hands-on leader who started by driving the trucks himself, he built the company from the ground up — route by route, move by move.

His passion for technology led to the introduction of live GPS tracking — making Topmovers the first moving company in Abuja to offer real-time truck visibility to customers. Under his leadership, the company has grown to cover 15 states and complete over 1,200 moves.

Co-Founder & COO

Anthonia Egwu joined Topmovers as Co-Founder in 2018, bringing the operational structure and client relationship expertise that transformed the business from a promising startup into a professional logistics company. She is the backbone of the Topmovers experience.

Anthonia oversees crew training, customer service, and quality control — ensuring that every move meets the standard the Topmovers name demands. Her attention to detail and people-first philosophy have been central to the company's 5-star reputation.
