When you use our website or book a move with us, we may collect the following information:

Information You Provide Directly

• Name — to address you and create your booking
• Phone number — to contact you about your move and send your tracking number
• Email address — to send booking confirmation and updates (optional)
• Pickup and delivery addresses — to plan and execute your move
• Preferred move date — to schedule your booking
• Messages or special instructions — notes you provide about your move

Information Collected Automatically

• Shipment tracking number — generated automatically when your move is dispatched
• GPS location data — collected from our drivers' phones via OwnTracks during active deliveries to provide live tracking
• Browser and device information — basic technical data collected when you visit our website (browser type, screen size), used only for improving the website

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• To process your booking and plan your move
• To contact you before, during, and after your move
• To send your tracking number via SMS or WhatsApp so you can follow your goods live on the map
• To provide live GPS tracking — your tracking number allows you to see your truck's real-time location
• To respond to your enquiries from our contact and quote forms
• To manage and improve our services — aggregate, anonymised data only
• To comply with legal obligations as required under Nigerian law

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, automated profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share limited information in the following circumstances only:

• Our drivers and crew — your name, phone number, pickup and delivery address are shared with the driver assigned to your move, so they can contact you on the day
• Google Maps — our live tracking system uses the Google Maps JavaScript API to display your truck's location on a map. Google's own privacy policy applies to data processed through their Maps platform. See: policies.google.com/privacy
• Legal requirements — if required by Nigerian law, a court order, or a legitimate government authority, we may disclose relevant information

No other third parties receive your personal data.

Our live truck tracking system is designed with privacy in mind:

• We track trucks, not customers. GPS data is collected from our drivers' phones — not from yours.
• Phone verification. To view tracking for a shipment, you must enter your tracking number and the last 4 digits of the phone number used for booking. This ensures only you can see your shipment.
• Approximate delivery location. On the public tracking map, your exact delivery address is replaced with a 200-metre radius circle to protect your home address from being publicly visible.
• Limited retention. GPS location records are automatically cleared from our database after 24–72 hours. Only the most recent location data is kept.
• Active moves only. GPS tracking is only active when a shipment is in "In Transit" status. Once delivered, tracking stops automatically.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse:

• Our website uses PHP sessions with secure cookie settings for admin access
• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — never in plain text
• All forms use CSRF protection to prevent cross-site attacks
• Our GPS endpoint uses a secret key to prevent unauthorised GPS submissions
• Our upload folder has PHP execution disabled to prevent malicious file exploits
• Log files and configuration files are blocked from public browser access

When deployed to a live server, all data will be transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption).

However, no system is completely secure. If you have concerns about your data, please contact us directly.

We retain your information for the following periods:

• Booking and lead records — kept for up to 2 years for business and accounting purposes, then deleted
• Shipment records — kept for up to 3 years for operational history
• GPS location data — automatically deleted after 24–72 hours
• Customer reviews — kept indefinitely unless you request removal
• Contact form messages — kept for up to 12 months

You may request deletion of your records at any time by contacting us — see Section 12.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — you may request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correction — you may ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Deletion — you may ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Objection — you may object to how we use your data
• Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within 10 business days.

Our website uses only essential cookies:

• Session cookie — This cookie is deleted when you close your browser.
• CSRF token — a security token stored in your session to protect forms from cross-site attacks.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics), or any tracking cookies that follow you across other websites.

The Google Maps JavaScript API embedded on our tracking page may set its own cookies subject to Google's cookie policy.

Our services are intended for adults (18 years and over) booking moving services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our services after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
